Use case
Build a Clark County Electrical Contractor List
Every active NSCB C-2 electrical contractor licence in Clark County, Nevada (Las Vegas), with phone, street address and monetary limit.
Suppose you have just opened a Las Vegas branch for an electrical-supply distributor, and your counter staff need something to do between walk-ins: phone every licensed electrical contractor in Clark County and introduce the branch. That means Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Boulder City in one sheet, with a phone number per firm, and you will want the sheet again in a few months with new licences added. The Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) licenses every one of those firms under classification C-2, so the list exists. On 2026-10-06 it was 855 active licences.
The manual way, and what it costs
The free route is short, and for a one-off list it may be all you need. Pick Clark in the County drop-down and C-2 in Classification, press Search, and NSCB shows all 855 licences on one page. There is nothing to download, so the sheet comes from selecting the page and pasting it into a spreadsheet, after which you split the line that holds city, state and ZIP into three columns yourself. If you need the list once, do that. It stops being reasonable when you want it again next quarter, or for Washoe and Douglas as well, because every repeat is the same paste and the same cleanup.
The faster way
Nevada Contractor Directory & Leads Scraper (NSCB) does the same search once and hands back every row at once.
{
"county": "Clark",
"trade": "C-2"
}
“C-2” is NSCB’s electrical family, and searching the family brings the sub-classes with it: of the 855 rows, 620 are plain C-2 Electrical, 195 include C-2D Low Voltage and 9 include C-2G Photovoltaics. That is the right net for a supply house, since low-voltage and solar installers buy wire and boxes too. “Clark” uses NSCB’s own county filter, so the list is firms the board files under Clark, and 850 of the 855 have a Nevada address.

| Field | Example value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
business_name | 2 FORTY ELECTRIC LLC | Contractor name as licensed by NSCB |
phone | (702) 433-7079 | Phone number on file with NSCB, as NSCB prints it |
address | 7322 BONK BLVD | Street address on file |
city | LAS VEGAS | City of the address |
address_state | NV | State of the address — NV for most, another state for out-of-state firms |
zip_code | 89139 | ZIP code of the address |
For the counter staff, phone is the column that matters: 847 of the 855 electricians have one, and all 855 have a street address and ZIP. By city it splits 638 Las Vegas, 122 Henderson, 53 North Las Vegas (44 spelled out, 9 as “N LAS VEGAS”) and 12 Boulder City. monetary_limit is a fair sorting tool for who buys in volume: 104 firms are “Unlimited” and 86 are capped at $10,000 per job.
What you’d do with it
Export the dataset as CSV and import it into your CRM with license_number as the external ID, so the next run updates the same 855 records instead of creating duplicates. Start the calls with the 104 unlimited-limit firms. Put the run on an Apify schedule and each refresh costs about $1.71 at today’s count; a licence number that is new since last time is usually a firm that just got licensed, and the one to call first.
Worth knowing
There is no email. NSCB’s Contractor Listing Search has no email field, so if your outreach is email-first you will need another source. The list is active licences only, and 71 of the 855 expire between October and December 2026, so some will drop off by the next run. Phones come in NSCB’s own mixed formatting. Most out-of-state electrical firms licensed in Nevada are not filed under any county and only appear on a statewide search, so a firm from Arizona working on the Strip may be missing from this list. And classifications shows what the C-2 search matched, which may not be everything the firm holds.
Run it yourself: How to run Nevada Contractor Directory & Leads Scraper (NSCB) walks the whole thing step by step.
Opening a second branch in another state? Arkansas Contractor Directory & Leads Scraper (ACLB) does the same county-and-trade pull for Arkansas and adds email, and California Contractor Directory by Trade & County covers California.
