Build a Pulaski County Roofing Contractor List

Every ACLB-licensed roofing contractor in Pulaski County, Arkansas, with phone, mailing address, licence and bid limit.

Suppose you are the new territory rep for a roofing-supply distributor, and your first month’s target is every licensed roofer in Pulaski County: Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle. You need a sheet with a name, a phone and an email per firm by Friday, and you will want the same sheet again next quarter with the lapsed licences dropped. The Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board (ACLB) licenses every one of those firms, so the list exists. On 2026-09-28 it was 129 contractors.

The manual way, and what it costs

The public search form on AR ACLB
ACLB's advanced search. It filters by county and specialty, and its results page has no export button.

There are two free routes, and for a one-off list the second one is genuinely good enough. The advanced search above takes one query (County “Pulaski”, Specialty “Roofing, Roof Decks, Roofing Sheet Metal”) and shows all 129 firms in a browser table, but with no email column and nothing to download. The link under the form, latestroster.csv, is ACLB’s full nightly roster: 18,290 rows with email on almost all of them. Open it in Excel, filter State to AR and County to Pulaski (1,746 rows), then filter the Spec column for the full trade name and you have the same 129. Filter for just the word “roofing” and you get 236 instead, because it also sits inside Fireproofing and Waterproofing. If you need this list once, do that.

The faster way

Arkansas Contractor Directory & Leads Scraper (ACLB) does the same search once and hands back every row at once.

{
  "county": "Pulaski",
  "trade": "Roofing"
}

“Roofing” resolves to ACLB’s specialty code s_1899, the exact trade the search form filters on, so the 107 fireproofers and waterproofers never enter the list. “Pulaski” is matched exactly: ACLB’s own county search would also return any out-of-state firm whose county happens to contain the text, and the actor drops those. Leaving validOnly at its default keeps only licences ACLB lists as valid, which is what a call list wants.

For the rep, email and phone are the columns that matter: 117 of the 129 roofers have an email and all 129 have a phone. officers names the people to ask for, and 69 of the 129 have at least one listed. bid_limit is a quiet sorting tool: 19 firms show “UNLIMITED” and 14 are “Restricted to projects under $1,500,000”, which is a fair proxy for who buys by the truckload.

What you’d do with it

Export the dataset as CSV and import it into your CRM with aclb_id as the external ID, so next quarter’s run updates the same 129 records instead of creating duplicates. Sort by bid_limit for the first week of calls. Put the run on an Apify schedule and each quarter’s list costs about another $0.26 at today’s count, with lapsed licences already gone.

Worth knowing

The address is the licence’s mailing address, and 16 of the 129 roofers use a PO box, so this is not a list of shop locations. A firm appears under the county of that mailing address only, even if it roofs all over central Arkansas. Twelve of the 129 have no email: 11 because ACLB has none on file and one because it was missing from that night’s roster. Three show “Call ACLB to confirm” as their status, which is ACLB asking you to phone before you rely on the licence.

Run it yourself: How to run Arkansas Contractor Directory & Leads Scraper (ACLB) walks the whole thing step by step.

Covering more than one county? List Residential Builders in Northwest Arkansas runs Benton and Washington together in one run. Selling into California as well, use California Contractor Directory by Trade & County, which does the same trade-by-county pull from CSLB.
