Find a Competitor's Vietnam Suppliers in US Customs Records

Home Depot's 50 most recent US customs shipments with product descriptions, filtered to its Vietnamese suppliers: who they are, what they shipped and how much.

Say you source bathroom furniture and hardware for a regional home-improvement chain, and the buying meeting wants one answer: which Vietnamese factories is Home Depot already using, so you can approach the ones with proven US export paperwork instead of cold-emailing 200 names off a trade directory. Every ocean shipment into the US leaves a bill of lading on public record, so the answer exists. The question is how long it takes to get it into a sheet you can hand to the team.

The manual way, and what it costs

Home Depot Usa's company page on ImportYeti
ImportYeti's page for Home Depot Usa, the name on the customs manifests. It lists the most recent 50 bills of lading.

For one importer, the free path is fine. Open Home Depot Usa on ImportYeti and read its recent shipments table: supplier, country, weight, containers. On 30 October 2026 its latest shipment was dated 28 October. If one competitor, once, is all you need, stop here.

It gets slower in two places. The table has no export, and its product description column is filled in by the browser after the page loads, so a copy-paste into a sheet loses the one column that says what was shipped. And the job is rarely one company: a shortlist of 15 competitors is 750 rows, and ImportYeti asks for a login after 25 page views from one address.

The faster way

ImportYeti US Import Records, Supplier & Importer Leads Scraper reads the same page and returns its shipments as rows.

{
  "mode": "profile",
  "query": "home depot",
  "includeShipments": true
}

query takes the name the way you would say it; ImportYeti redirects “home depot” to home-depot-usa, the entity on the manifests. includeShipments adds the 50 most recent bills of lading as free rows next to the company’s profile. On the run behind this article that took 12 seconds and was billed as one profile at $0.005. Filter the partner_country column to Vietnam in the export.

What comes back

10 of the 50 bills came from Vietnam, all dated 28 October, from 8 suppliers: Aurolite Electrical Vietnam, Clearwater Metal Vn, Cty Tnhh Amedan Furniture, Expeditors Vietnam, Fortune Industrial Holding, Hpi International, Tai Seng and You Chuang Viet Nam Furniture. Tai Seng is the one to call first for bathroom furniture: two bills of 10 containers each (85,227 kg and 86,724 kg) plus a one-container bill, all described as bathroom vanities. Amedan Furniture shipped 6 containers of bathroom furniture on one bill. partner_url closes the loop, because each supplier’s page lists the other US importers it ships to.

What you’d do with it

Paste the eight supplier URLs into your sourcing tracker and run each one through the same actor in profile mode to see its other US buyers, shipment totals and website; ask the factories that already ship to two or more US retailers for a quote. For the whole picture, run Lowe’s, Menards and Floor & Decor in the same batch with queries: four profiles, $0.02.

Worth knowing

The page serves the 50 most recent bills of lading per importer and has no page two, so 10 of 50 is a snapshot of the last few days, not Home Depot’s whole Vietnam supply base; deeper history sits behind ImportYeti’s paid plans. A supplier’s country on the bill is the shipment’s origin: Fortune Industrial Holding’s address is in Hong Kong while its shipment left Vietnam. estimated_freight_cost_usd is ImportYeti’s estimate, not a price anyone paid, and was on 14 of the 50 bills.

Run it yourself: How to run ImportYeti US Import Records, Supplier & Importer Leads Scraper walks the whole thing step by step.

From 14 November 2026 the actor’s contact option adds phone numbers and website contacts to each profile. For a list of supplier websites you already have, Business Email, Phone & Contact Details Scraper reads the email and phone off each one.
