Central, Hong Kong Solicitors List with Phone Numbers

Say you run a certified legal translation service, and this quarter you want to phone every solicitors’ office in Central, Hong Kong’s main business district, to offer same-day turnaround on Chinese-English court documents. You need each office’s name, phone number and street address, and you would rather skip the branch offices of the big firms and call their main switchboards.

The manual way, and what it costs

The yp.com.hk Yellow Pages is free and public, and for a dozen firms it is the right tool: search Solicitors, scroll, copy. The category held 1,012 listings on 2026-10-25, though, and the page loads them 10 at a time as you scroll, so all of Hong Kong is about 100 loads. There is no export button and no district column to filter on; the district sits at the end of each address, and every branch office is its own entry. At that volume the copying, not the calling, becomes the week’s work.

Solicitors is yp.com.hk’s own category name, and district: Central keeps only offices whose address ends in Central. On the 2026-10-27 data that is 473 listings, so maxResults: 500 takes them all, for $1.89 at $0.004 a listing. Each filter takes a list, so a second district can sit next to Central in the same run.

phone is the one your callers need, and it was on all 473 Central listings read on 2026-10-27. Fax is on 89.4% of them and a website on 34.7%. extras.branch is true for a branch office (16 of the 473, 3.4%), which is how you call head offices first. street gives the building and floor for a follow-up letter.

Export the dataset as CSV, sort extras.branch so head offices come first, and import the sheet into your CRM as a call list of 473 listings. Re-run it next quarter with the same input to see which offices are new.

Worth knowing

No email: yp.com.hk does not publish one, so this is a phone-and-letter list. The data is served from a stored copy and can be weeks old; the run log states the date of the copy. Map coordinates are thin for this list: 22.6% of Central solicitors have them, against 72.7% across the whole directory. A firm that lists itself under a different category, such as Lawyers-Foreign, is not in this run unless you add that category too.
