Santa Clara County APN Lookup: Parcel Number to Zillow & Redfin

Turn Santa Clara County, California parcel numbers into street addresses and their Redfin / Zillow records: beds, baths, size, value and the listing link.

Say you buy homes in Silicon Valley, and your leads arrive the way county records produce them: a probate filing, a tax-default notice, a title report, each naming the property by its Santa Clara County parcel number. Before you call anyone you want the basics: where the house is, how big, when it last sold and what the listing sites think it’s worth. Your list has parcel numbers like 003-61-019 and nothing else.

The manual way, and what it costs

The manual way works. Look the parcel up on the county’s property search to get its address, then type that address into Redfin or Zillow. Typing the parcel number straight into the listing sites doesn’t help: on 29 October 2026, Zillow’s and Realtor.com’s own search boxes found none of 10 known parcel numbers we tried. Two sites per parcel is a couple of minutes each, so for five leads it’s the right call. For a weekly list of 50 it’s most of a morning, every week, spent copying addresses between browser tabs.

The faster way

US Property Lookup & Listing Scraper by APN/Parcel does both lookups and hands back one row per parcel number.

{
  "apns": ["CA/Santa Clara/00361019"]
}

Write each parcel as CA/Santa Clara/<number>. The dashes are optional for Santa Clara: 003-61-019 and 00361019 found the same parcel. If every number on your list is in Santa Clara County, you can paste bare numbers instead and set the State and County fields once.

What comes back

The row from our 29 October 2026 test-customer run, trimmed:

That one row answers the brief. Parcel 003-61-019 is a 5-bed, 4,110 sq ft Palo Alto home built in 2012. It last sold in August 2018 for $6.75 million, Redfin now estimates it at about $8.86 million, and sourceUrl opens the listing with its photos. The gap between estimatedValue and the 2018 price is the kind of equity figure you’d sort a lead list by.

What you’d do with it

Export the dataset as CSV and join it back to your lead list on apn. Sort by estimatedValue minus price to see equity since the last sale, and filter on lastSoldDate to find long-held homes. The rows without a home are free and say why. no_address usually means vacant land, and not_found means the number was mistyped or isn’t in that county.

Worth knowing

Parcel numbers are only unique within a county, so the county is required. The property facts come from Redfin or Zillow and exist only for homes they track. The parcel step reads California’s statewide parcel map, which covers all 58 counties, including Nevada County and Placer. Outside California, coverage goes state by state; the how-to guide lists it.

Run it yourself: How to run US Property Lookup & Listing Scraper by APN/Parcel walks the whole thing step by step.

For the assessor’s own record of a parcel (owner, mailing address, assessed value) in the counties it covers, Alameda, Los Angeles and Sacramento among them in California, use US Property Records Export & Owner Lookup.
